Honey Roast Champagne Duck 

Irish honey roasted half duck, served with homemade champagne and grape sauce, fresh vegetables and spring onion mash potato.

Braised Lamb Shank 

Country joint of lamb shank braised for a minimum of 12 hours that allows the meat to simply drop off the bone, in a rich lamb and red wine jus, root vegetables and scallion mash potato.

 

Featherblade of Beef 

Slow cooked organic Angus beef, fresh vegetables, scallion mash potato and O’Hara stout gravy.

 

Irish Lamb Stew 

A classic combination of tender diced lamb, stewed slowly with potato, carrots, celery and pearl barley. Served with a crescent puff pastry.

 

Traditional Bacon & Cabbage 

Traditional cooked  loin of bacon, scallion mash potato, buttered cabbage served with parsley sauce.

 

Supreme of Chicken 

Served with wild mushroom sauce, rosemary and thyme roast vegetables and scallion mash potato.

Fox’s Famous Whiskey Cake "Over 18's only!"

This recipe has been kept secret for over 130 years. A sinfully delicious moist sponge cake flavoured with chocolate and heavily laced with whiskey, then layered with fresh cream and served with toffee sauce.

 

Chef's Eat 'n Mess

Broken meringue pieces with freshly whipped cream and berry coulis finished with fresh seasonal berries.

 

Chocolate Toffee Cake

Silky smooth toffee in between layers of moist chocolate sponge topped with a covering of whipped cocoa cream and dark chocolate shavings.

 

Fresh Homemade Apple Pie

Just like out grandmother used to make. Hand rubbed short pastry filled with fresh apple pieces and topped with cooked apple compote. Served with cream or ice cream.

 

Fox’s Banoffi Cream Pie

A modern classic – biscuit base, topped with homemade toffee and freshly sliced bananas and finished with whipped cream.

Hooley Show - Book Tickets

If you would like to see the amazing 'Hooley Show', please click the button below to book tickets. The ticket price includes a four-course meal (including tea or coffee) and our famous live traditional Irish music & spectacular live Irish dancing. The show takes place in our 'Back Parlour' room and dinner is served from either our 'Table d'Hote Menu' or our 'Group Menu'.
